We currently have an excellent opportunity for a children centred, dedicated Night Support Worker to support families, parents and babies within the Preston area.

You will be working for an excellent family care provider specialising in the highest quality of support and help to provide homely accommodation to families who have experienced or will potentially experience difficulties.

As the Night Support Worker you will be supporting parents with their families with bed time routines, activities, meal times, support with feeding and caring for babies if necessary and support with dealing with any challenges such as safeguarding, drugs and alcohol misuse, and mental health issues.

You will be able to demonstrate good organisations skills, resilience, communication skills and a confident and motivated character. The successful candidate will be level-headed, and children focused. You will demonstrate professionalism and maturity throughout the role. You will be responsible for the supervision of the interactions of families both directly and remotely using a tablet device, focusing on parent-child interaction.

The successful candidate will hold relevant experience in the Social Care fields ideally from either a Mental Health service background, experience with Outreach work, childcare. You will also need to have the NVQ Level 3 or 4 in Childcare/Residential Care/Children and Family/Social Care.

This is a full-time position with a salary of £20,200 which is paid monthly. In addition to great benefits, progression, and developments.
