Job Description

Job Role: Nursery Educator

We are currently seeking an experienced Nursery Educator to support our client based in Daventry. Our client is a leading provider of quality child day care within the area, and they are very committed to deliver a safe, secure, and friendly setting for the infants. An Outstanding Ofsted record with capacity for up to 56 children between 3 months and 8 years of age.


Shift Pattern: Hours & Shift Pattern: 40 hours per week between the hours of 07.30 - 18.00 on a rotating shift basis


Your responsibilities:


* Promoting good relationships within staff team and management team.
* Being proactive and being able to work independently as well as working in a team environment.
* Making sure that
* Ensuring the well-being and safety of children is safeguarded, with a primary focus on security.
* Planning on a weekly basis, to make sure that all children's needs are being met and making sure that children are provided with the best opportunities for them.
* Making sure that children are encouraged and stimulated to learn new vocabulary as well their own critical thinking.
* Maintaining regular checking on all children's dietary requirements, allergies and make sure that every individual needs are met.
* Include religious festivals that represent diverse backgrounds, providing an opportunity for everyone to learn about various cultures. Emphasize equal opportunities, ensuring all children are included and treated with equal regard.
* Ensuring all the children's needs are meet.
* Ensuring all the children's health and hygiene needs are met.
* Understanding of Health & Safety and follow the companies' policies and procedures.

Qualifications and requirements


* Hold a childcare qualification at Level 3 or higher.
* Possess knowledge in child protection and safeguarding.
* Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of the EYFS curriculum.
* Have practical experience in working with children.
* Capable of developing diverse learning techniques and familiar with various educational theorists.
* Show understanding of different Special Educational Needs (SEND) and the ability to support individual children accordingly.
