Job Description

Nursery Practitioner
Salary: £23,000 - £25,000
Location: Northampton
Shift Pattern: 40 hours per week between the hours of 07.30 - 18.00 on a rotating shift basis

Salary and Benefits

Overview of the Role
I am looking for a highly motivated, organised, and proactive practitioner with a child centred approach to deliver the EYFS. The ideal candidate must be enthusiastic, knowledgeable about the EYFS, be able to plan, prepare purposeful and age-appropriate activities. They will be a keyperson to a group of children completing full observations, developing displays, engaging with the children at their level, putting forward some great ideas and delivering an all-round curriculum. They must have the ability to be a reflective practitioner and move the children's learning and development forward.

Key Responsibilities

  • Level 3 childcare qualification and above
  • Knowledge of child protection and safeguarding
  • Thorough understanding of the EYFS curriculum
  • Knowledge and experience of working with children
  • Be able to develop different learning techniques and have a knowledge of theorists
  • Understanding of different SEND Needs and how to support individual children

In this stage, you will go have a formal interview with the hiring manager.
