Job Description
Our client is looking for a Caseworker to join their legal team based in Uxbridge.
Due to our clients rapid growth, they're looking for an ambitious candidate with some experience in employment and/or Licensing law.
Your main responsibilities will include:
- Representing and/or arranging external representation for their unions members in need.
- Ensuring effective administration of casework
- Preparing education materials and public presentations to help educate and inform members on their workplace rights and current progress of relevant key cases.
- Informing public representatives on the current workplace issues faced by our members and making recommendations for reform.
The ideal candidate will have a good working knowledge of employment/licensing law. You will have experience of conducting and managing a portfolio of legal casework. Excellent communication and organisation skills, and the ability to be self-resilient and able to work on own initiative.
You must have the ability to work proactively and manage conflicting deadlines in a dynamic environment. You must display a willingness to learn and develop. You must also be personally committed to fighting for social justice and the rights of workers.
The salary for this position is between £23,000-£28,000. The client is ideally looking for law graduates looking for full-time employment. There is no parking, however is very accessible via public transport.
