Job Description

** Registered Night Nurse **
** Wellingborough, Northamptonshire **
** £20.54ph / £25,633 **

** Providing nursing care for people with mental illness and dementia needs **

BS Social Care is currently recruiting for a Nurse working permanent and part time nights within the Wellingborough area of Northamptonshire. This role is working with a medium sized and well established care organisation proving care for adults with Dementia and mental health issues. You will work a 2 night shift shifts per week which consist of 7.30pm - 7.30am. This role consists of working closely with your management team and your Senior Care Assistant/Care Assistants and your service users to ensure the best possible care is provided for your service users.

About the employer; this employer is a small but well established company who have been within the care field for many years. This home is one of the two, local to one another. The company provides care for adults with care needs.

About the job; a summary of the role includes supporting the team both in management and on the ground, ensuring that care of the highest standard is delivered to all residents, by assisting in the delivery and recording of care, by acting as a Key Worker, by assisting in ensuring the house is clean and hygienic and by assisting in ensuring personal clothing and linen is laundered to highest standard.

About the ideal candidate; it is essential that you hold a NMC pin and ideal to hold nursing home and Dementia/MH experience. The location of this home is not near public transport so ideally you will either be a driver or will have a dedicated person to be able to pick you up and drop you off. If you do not, the home will provide transport for you via their porter and will cover people up to a 10 mile radius.

A salary of £44,859 which works out to be £20.54ph will be paid for this permanent and full time role working 42 hours per week. You will also be offered a full host of benefits such as free parking, pension, annual leave of 5.6 weeks per year, double pay on BH`s, extra pay for overtime, progression or transfers to other homes within the area, all training needed PAID (mandatory and professional development) uniform, transport within a 10 mile radius, on call training, training hand delivered, ongoing education is supported, external courses are welcome, a free DBS and more.
