Nursery Assistant
Part Time
Newport

We are working in partnership with a lovely Newport based nursery who are currently recruiting for a nursery nurse.

It is a part time position working 3 hours a day Monday - Friday. The hours options for the working hours are 11.30am - 2.30pm or 3pm - 6pm.

The nursery is based in central Newport and offers on site parking.


You will either be working in the Baby Room which is working with babies up to 2 years old or the Toddler Room which is working with children between 2 years old and 3 years old.


You will be involved in periods of educational activities as well as play time and assist with nap times.

The ideal candidate:

• Level 2/3 childcare qualification (minimum) or equivalent or Play work qualification - (Level 2 qualified must be willing to work towards level 3)
• Safeguarding Certificate
• Knowledge and understanding of child development
