Our Public Sector client based in Saltley, Birmingham, is currently looking for an Administration Officer to support their Maintenance Depot Team. This will be Monday to Friday, usually 9.00am to 5.30pm however the successful candidate must have a degree of flexibility in line with the needs of the business which may mean working later in the evening or earlier in the morning than these hours. This will be an ongoing temporary assignment, paying £11.60 per hour. Currently this role has a hybrid working model, enabling home working but also some on site working will be required.
The successful worker will need to provide administrative support to the team. This role requires great attention to detail as your main responsibility will be navigating, inputting and updating the main possession planning system. This is a significant co-ordination task, taking into consideration a lot of factors, to enable you to use their ordering/processing system to ensure that job sheets match those of the onsite team.
Having planning support experience, or previous Railways experience would be very beneficial for this role.
You should have good literacy and communication skills to be able to deal with both internal and external stakeholders, and you must also be proficient in MS Office, particularly Word and Excel.
