Brand new role- Exciting opportunity

We have an exciting opportunity for a qualified positive behaviour support practitioner to join an established national provider of supported living and residential care, supporting adults with learning disabilities, personality disorder and challenging behaviours. This is a brand-new role so this really is something you can put your experience and knowledge into, in order to put your stamp in different services.

You will be an established and key member of the multi-disciplinary team, reporting to the clinical director and working together in settings across Yorkshire, while based in Morley. Together you will develop strategies and support methods in a person-centred way, in order to support all individuals to a high standard.

Travel is essential, so you will need a full driving license as you will be required to attend settings across Yorkshire in order to offer your support to those who need you to guide them actively and encourage independence through coping strategies with techniques and recognising triggers and how to resolve them.

Some of the exciting tasks of this role are:
¢ Staff training and development
¢ PBS support planning
¢ Behaviour assessment
¢ PBS workshops
¢ Incident analysis and de-brief

We are looking for someone who is experienced in supporting individuals with Learning Disabilities, Mental Health Needs, and Behaviours, with an enthusiastic and pro-active way of thinking. We would like someone who is willing to go above and beyond with their flexible approach, in order to portray an outstanding level of service.

As well as the above we also require a person with :
¢ PBS BTEC (ADVANCED PROFESSIONAL DIPLOMA)/ BSc in intellectual and developmental disabilities/MSc in analysis and intervention in learning disabilities/ applied behaviour analysis. Should you have just completed one of the above qualifications, your application would still be considered in order to provide your FIRST PBS role!
¢ A full UK driving license
¢ Flexibility to travel

This is an opportunity that you do not want to miss out on, with the chance to grow with a constantly expanding and exciting organisation who strive to be the best for the people they support.
