Practice Lead (MH)

BS Social Care are working in partnership with a national specialist mental health recovery provider in the search for an experienced practice lead or team leader for mental health recovery provision in the Durham and Teesside area.
The floating support services offer support to service users in their own home to promote independent living and reduce reliance on statutory services. You will also be involved with a residential service in the move on aspect for residents into the community.
As a successful candidate, you will have a relevant level 3 qualification in health and social care or the equivalent such as a psychology degree. You will ideally have experience in mental health recovery services. You will have an awareness of a therapeutic community and recovery. A knowledge of signposting to relevant services is vital. A flexible and professionally empathetic manner is vital.
You will be expected to have knowledge of managing budget and communication with stakeholders. Multi-disciplinary team working experience must be able to be proven. This is a 0900-1700 Monday to Friday position
You will have support from a wide team of different practitioners to work alongside and must also be able to provide support and guidance to you staff team. As a large care provider, personal development and progression is encouraged and training is constant, both in-house and external.
