Job Description

Production Planner
Annual Salary £24,000
Monday to Friday 9 - 5pm, 37.5 hours per week
OFFICE BASED in Shepshed - Leicestershire

We have a great opportunity for an individual who has passion and drive within a production administration environment.

You will be joining a great team who offer hands on training and support within an office based role. The Production Planners work within the Planning Team as the focal point for all aspects of operation delivery across all DML (Dry, Moist and Liquid) divisions. You will be delivering excellent levels of customer service whilst accurately managing sales and purchase contracts.

Day to day you will be…..
Inputting Sales & Purchase contract entries within the company risk policy parameters and management of those contracts once uploaded.
Providing Customer service - dealing with complaints, enquiries and pricing via email and telephone as well as building relationships with customers, hauliers & suppliers.
Carrying out administration tasks as and when required - credit/debit notes, filing, invoice cancellations & new account set-up forms.

We are looking for someone with…
Previous experience of operating within an office/admin/commercial environment.
Experience within customer facing roles would be beneficial
Pro-activeness
A numerate mindset and financially aware
A keen eye for detail
Confidence with talking to people internally and externally at all levels
Excellent organisational skills and strong interpersonal skills
A team working and customer focused attitude
Great communication skills (spoken and written)
Good software experience, including Microsoft office and Microsoft programs.
A good level of general IT literacy

Desirable skills:
" Sales experience
" Outbound calling experience
" Face to face contact with customers and clients experience
