The organistion who you will be employed by are recognised for providing innovative services for the most vulnerable service users who have, in the whole, had previous housing placement fail. They provide accommodation and support to service users with a variety of complex needs including those who have accessed mental health services, some substance misuse and those with any trauma-based background. All residents have been affected by homelessness.
You will work with the team in helping deliver any support plans that is drawn up with the residents. Due to the nature of the service, adhering to policies and risk assessments is a must.
You will have had experience working in services where you have supported service users with complex needs such as substance misuse and ill mental health. You will be able to evidence where you have shown resilience when confronted with challenging behaviour. Communication skills are essential in this position, and you will have experience managing safeguarding
A relevant NVQ 3 in the health and social care field would be ideal, but, as already stated, experience in a similar role is the most vital requirement.

This organisation will put you through relevant training courses and NVQs should you want to develop your career with them. Your salary will also increase by £2000 on successful completion of your 6 month probationary period
