Job Description

Have an exciting opportunity for a recruitment and retention professional to join an established domiciliary care service, based in Solihull, who prides themselves on the delivery of high quality care within the community.

You will join an independent domiciliary care provider who has been established for over seven years and has secured a great reputation for the delivery of bespoke, tailored care packages. You will become part of a team who put the client at the heart of everything they do and are committed to delivering consistent care and support.

Based within a dynamic and busy domiciliary care office, you will lead on the recruitment and retention of care and support staff. You will be guided by the needs of the registered manager and staff team as to the staffing needs for their service.

Working within set targets and timeframes, you will play a key role in resourcing person centred care staff and where necessary, senior level office staff. You will manage your own time effectively and compile data and reports in relation to recruitment requirements and staff clearances.

You will be pivotal in advertising vacancies, shortlisting candidates, interviewing and the overall management of the offer and clearance process to include references.

A significant part of the internal recruiter job role is to utilise innovative advertising and networking methods. You will seek out and attend local job fairs, as well as liaise with colleges, universities and training providers who will be able to put you in touch with qualified staff. Thinking outside the box in terms of advertising and candidate attraction will greatly benefit the candidate pipeline.

To be considered for this exciting opportunity, you will be able to demonstrate a background within a recruitment capacity. Excellent attention to detail and knowledge of the care sector, specifically domiciliary care would be advantageous.

You will have excellent communication skills, be committed to meeting and exceeding targets and be confident and competent in liaising with external agencies.

Enhanced computer literacy, access to your own vehicle and knowledge of Solihull and the surrounding area are all essential to be considered for this job role
