Job Description

Do you hold a Level 5 in Health & Social Care/Leadership and management or equivalent? Do you have a proven `Good/Outstanding` OFSTED track record? Do you possess a clean UK driver's licence & own a vehicle? Do you have previous quality experience working in an EBD children's home?

The home provides care for young people with problematic sexual behaviour, emotional and behavioural difficulties, learning difficulties and those that have suffered sexual exploitation.

Our client is currently seeking an experienced Children`s home Registered Residential Manager in the Redhill (Surrey) area. In order to qualify the following essential criteria must be met:


- You must hold a level 5 Diploma in Health & Social Care/ Leadership and management. (Higher or equivalent)
- Minimum of two years' management experience of working with young people in a care setting.
- Willing to complete the registered Manager award within 12 months of taking up the post.
- Knowledge of the Children`s Act 1989 as well as other current legislation that is needed to operate successfully at a `Good`/`Outstanding` level as judged by OFSTED.
- Flexibility to provide shift cover during times of staff illness/annual leave.
- Must drive and own a vehicle.
The role will require you to lead a team of up to fifteen staff members in order to meet the needs of vulnerable young people.
