Job Description

Registered Manager

Children and Young People
Stockport/ Tameside
Competitive base salary with monthly bonus

Are you an experienced Registered Manager?

Do you have experience working with young people aged 8-18 with Social Emotional and Mental Health Difficulties?


As a Registered Manager manage a BRAND NEW SERVICE! You will be managing a 2 bedded service in the Tameside area. You`ll create a setting where each child can thrive and reach their full potential. You`ll make sure they feel happy, safe and motivated and will also keep your home`s standards high. You will be able to put your own stamp on the new service and work very closely with the Directors to make sure you can make your home "Outstanding"!

This role would suit someone that is wanted to get involved with an organisation in their infancy and would be keen on growing and developing with this organisation. You will work with the Directors to make sure not only is it a great place for the young people but also a great place to work.

Responsibilities
Managing day-to-day operations, you`ll take ownership of Ofsted statutory requirements.
Play an active part with the commercial team.
Your input will help the children`s home run within budget.
Develop a confident and competent staff team.
Implement agreed systems which ensure the effective communication and allocation of resources.
Promote the efficient and effective operation of the home.

Essential
Experience in managing an Ofsted rated Good or Outstanding children`s home.
Professional qualification: Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare or equivalent.
Experience within Management.
Experience of carrying out administrative duties- Filing, recording, rota preparation and report writing.
Enthusiastic, resilient and good with people.
A full UK driving license is a must for this role.
