Registered Children`s Home Manager

Location: Morpeth
Salary: £40,000 - £42,000

Brook Street Social Care are a highly renowned agency, with an exceptional reputation for placing passionate and professional Health and Social Care workers in rewarding jobs which make a difference. Brook Street are working alongside a fantastic children`s residential service, who will shortly be opening their 5 bedded second home. This beautifully located home, with 8 acres of land, will provide care and support to children with complex needs, and challenging behaviour.

You will be a confident individual, with a minimum of 2 years` experience in a management position supporting children and young people with learning disabilities. You will have existing leadership skills, as hold integrity and ambition to be able to run all aspects of the home. You will be responsible for ensuring that the home is ran to the highest possible standard of care. You will have existing knowledge of Ofsted and have previous experience of their inspections. You will understand current legislation such as Children`s Regulations, The Quality Standards, Every Child Matters, Safeguarding.

You will hold a minimum of a Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care and Children and Young People. You will hold a full UK driving licence, and you will hold a full UK driving licence, and you will be required to be approved for registration by OFSTED as well as undergo an enhanced DBS check and will be subject to extensive referencing and pre-employment checks.

The starting salary for this role is £40,000 - £42,000, which will increase by £2000 annually on attendance.
