Job Description

I have an exciting opportunity available for a registered estates manager to oversee the day to day running of a stunning extra care service for older adults in the beautiful town of Bridgnorth, Shropshire. This service is well established and has a GOOD rated CQC report.

You will join a nationwide assisted living provider who provides 24 hour support including domestic support and personal care to older adults who have purchased their own, state of the art and high quality apartments within this stand-alone setting.

As registered manager, you will take overall responsibility for the day to day running of the assisted living development. You will lead, direct and supervise your staff team to deliver a high quality and competent care and support service that responds to the needs of the individuals who reside here.

You will pro-actively review the care needs of the residents and manage and promote domiciliary care services within the development. You will be required to register with CQC as a manager and ensure that all care delivered is in line with both company and CQC guidelines.

Due to the requirements of this service, you will need flexibility to share the on call rota as required

A strong team leader, who is passionate about independent living and the promotion of dignity in older adults, would be a great addition to this expanding organisation

To be considered for the Registered Manager job role, you will hold a relevant care management qualification, for example the level 5 in leadership and management or equivalent. You will have a significant background supporting older adults and possess comprehensive CQC knowledge. A full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle, plus flexibility to work one day on alternate weekends, compensated with a day off in the week.

In return for your extensive knowledge and proven experience, you will receive a highly competitive salary circa £32000 per annum plus the opportunity to earn bonus by achieving set KPIs. You will also receive a generous annual leave allowance, be entered into a company pension scheme which includes employer contributions and receive reward and recognition benefits.

Applying for this registered manager role could not be easier. Applications can be made by submitting your CV via email. Alternatively, you can apply via the BS Social Care website.
