Job Description

Job title: Branch Manager

Responsible to: Responsible Individual

Salary: £28,000 - £30,000

Main Purpose:
To oversee the day to day running of a local branch office providing care within the community. You will be responsible for Employee compliance and Service Users alike through their journey or Employment and Care. Ensuring care service and employment experience is of the highest standard.

Key responsibilities:
" Safely achieve new care hours in line with the Organisation's growth targets
" Ensure Quality and consistency is maintained throughout the service
" Build and maintain excellent working relationships with staff, service users, office staff and stakeholders
" Provide mentorship and support to community and Branch Staff
" Oversee and ensure efficiency of staff rotas, ensuring quality and compliance
" Undertake supervisions and appraisals on a quarterly and annual basis.
" Promote employee retention
" Ensure accuracy of data
" Liaise with external stakeholders, Social Services, Safeguarding and be a main point of contact
" Produce and presentation of management information
" Contribute to the ethos of continuous improvement at the Branch by seeking out opportunities to streamline processes, increase efficiency and improve the experience for employees and Service users alike.

Other Activity:
" To undertake duties as can be reasonably expected to ensure the smooth running and efficiency of the department
" To carry out duties and responsibilities of the post at all times in compliance with Organisation policies - especially Equal Opportunities and Health & Safety.

Qualifications:
" Must be educated to NVQ Level 4 in Health and Social Care or a Level 5 QCF in Health and Social Care
" Management Qualification is desirable but can be achieved through personal development within the organisation

Knowledge:
" Experience of Care Management/Branch Manager activities demonstrated by:
a) Experience Regulatory procedures and guidelines
b) Dealing with confidential information
c) Communication with key partners to ensure delivery of a high-quality service

Skills and Abilities:
" Driven, ambitious, lateral thinking individual
" Enthusiastic and energetic individual
" Team player whose goal is to leverage good service delivery
" Excellent Communication Skills
" Full understanding of Domiciliary Care
" Good organizational and prioritization skills
" Excellent written and communication skills
" Full driving licence
