Job Description

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Registered Manager to join the team in Accrington, you will manage the support and delivery of an outreach support provision for young people and adults with learning disabilities.

You will be working for an incredible organisation who offer various levels of support from outreach day support provisions to overnight shortbreak respite and even home domiciliary care. They work with children aged 4 and above, through to adults up to 65 years of old, with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities across Lancashire in towns and cities.

As the Registered Manager you will lead and direct the day to day management of the outreach support provision. You will lead by example and ensure that all care delivered is in line with company and CQC policies and procedures. You will be responsible for staff supervisions, recruitment and training. You will be a pro-active, organised and compassionate manager, who leads by example and communicates effectively to both your staff team and people in your care. With a proven background in the learning disabilities sector, you will be able to demonstrate significant experience within a managerial role.

You will hold a relevant managerial qualification (Level 5 in leadership and management or equivalent) and although not essential, a full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle would benefit this registered manager`s role greatly.

To be successful in this role, you will fulfil all requirements needed to register as a manager with CQC. This exciting registered manager role is offering a highly competitive salary of between £32,000 and £36,000 per annum depending on experience. You will also receive a generous annual leave allowance, ongoing training and development and benefit from internal progression opportunities.
