We are working in partnership with a wonderful client based in Durlsey. They provide residential care to those who have dementia and mental health conditions.
The home is a renovated Grade II listed manor set in over 3 acres of wonderful gardens, bringing a calming and relaxing atmosphere. Currently assisting 26 residents the manor has been decorated specifically to stimulate the minds of those who are living with dementia.
The role is full time Monday - Friday, however there may be a need to work unsociable hours, work shift cover and on call duties.
You will be working with the Director with assisting to run the home, creating care plans and writing reports. Review risk assessments, and ensuring the home is kept to a high standard maintaining their 'Good' CQC report.
Staff management is an important part of this role, such as managing absences and annual leave requests whilst ensuring there is shift cover when needed. Delegating tasks to staff and making sure that each task is completed to a high standard, whilst carrying out supervisions when needed.
You will be an experienced Deputy Manager or an existing Registered Manager who has experience working in a similar background. You will understand each individual role and what is required of each staff member. You will hold a level 5 or be working towards this, or hold an RMA or equivalent. You do not need to be clinically qualified, however having a mental health, dementia, or ABI background is extremely beneficial.
You will have an abundance of support from other senior staff members, from the two on site Directors, Deputy Manager and HR personnel.
