BS Social Care are working alongside a nationwide charity which supports adults with learning difficulties.

As the Registered Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing 12 sites across Durham, Darlington and Burley. You will be required to advise and maintain a comprehensive knowledge of individuals support plans and specific person-centred requirements to ensure that the highest quality of care s met in each service. You will manage the Community Support Leaders, Team Coordinators, Senior Support Workers and Support Workers on a day-to-day basis, as well as managing HR case work, disciplinary, grievance and appraisals. You will be responsible for making decisions based on policies and procedures that comply with the Care Quality Commission Regulations and Key lines of Enquiry, and whilst doing ensuring that your team is compliant with these standards.

You will be confident, have excellent communication and team management skills. You will be able to lead by example, as well as positively influence and persuade other. You will be able to deliver results and show initiative and act upon it accordingly.

You will hold a Level 5 Diploma in Health and Social Care and have a robust understanding of the current CQC framework. You will have a previous proven background managing a team and managing budgets. You must be a full UK driver for this position and be confident in your IT skills.
