Job Description

Would you like to work for a national charity supporting people with Learning Disabilities and their families? My client is a reputable nationwide organisation who support over 3000 people throughout the UK and they are looking for an experienced Registered Manager to take up the position of Registered Cluster Manager in the Leeds area.

The Job-

This new role comes with big responsibilities as a Registered Cluster Manager. Its your opportunity to gain registered status and develop your career with one of the country`s leading names in the learning disabilities sector.

As the registered manager you will take on legal accountability for your `cluster of services`. This role is central to ensuring services are:-

- Safe
- Effective
- Caring
- Responsive
- Well-led

The responsibilities cover legislation, compliance and finance in addition to people management and provides support for people with a learning disability. In a sense you will be managing your own business unit, with guidance and support accountability to the Regional manager.

You will be the Registered Manager of around 3/4 supported living houses, 600 hours and 15 to 20 staff in the Leeds area.

Requirements-

To join us you need to have a Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care and/or Children and Young People Level 5 or equivalent, or the ability to achieve this in 12 months.
Experience working with Adults with Learning Disabilities, previous experience working with people with complex needs is desirable.
Its important you already have experience supervising and managing a team - together with the desire to take on more responsibility.
