Job Description

Registered Manager required to oversee the operational day to day management of a small, yet OUTSTANDING residential service for children and young people with emotional and behavioural needs.

You will join an organisation who prides themselves on the promotion of emotional, social and behavioural support within comfortable home environments. There is a real focus on therapeutic care and support and you will lead a service that promotes this.

As registered manager you will take responsibility for the operation and day-to-day running of the home. You will always ensure the safety and well-being of the young people in your care and that the service is safe and providing a high standard of care. You will ensure that the home complies with OFSTED and company standards.

You will manage and lead a team of care and support staff, oversee staff rotas and delegations and liaise effectively and professionally with external agencies.

A professional, pro-active and child centred individual, you will have excellent management skills and be passionate about making a difference to the lives of the young people in your care.

To be successful in applying for the registered manager role, you will have a proven background in residential care for children and young people and be able to demonstrate a significant period of time within a managerial capacity. You will hold the Diploma Level 5 in Leadership for Health and Social care (children and young people`s services) or be willing to work towards this.

A comprehensive understanding of OFSTED policies and procedures, as well as full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle is essential to be considered for this job role.
