An excellent opportunity has become available for a registered manager to oversee the day to day running of a residential service for children and young people with learning disabilities, including autism, special educational needs and challenging behaviours.
Based within a beautiful rural setting, not far from Worcester and with excellent access from the main road network, you will provide a caring and nurturing residential setting for young people up to the age of 19.
This service has great access to educational provisions and additional activities.
As registered manager, you will be responsible for:
* Safeguarding the young people who reside here
* Mentor and support your care team to deliver outstanding OFSTED ratings
* Build and develop a strong business
* Manage budgets and resources
* Lead and and promote Positive Behaviour Support
* Share "on call" responsibilities
This is the perfect opportunity for a competent deputy manager with a background in care and support for children and young people with a learning disability diagnosis or an equally experienced registered manager who is seeking their next role.
You will demonstrate extensive OFSTED knowledge and experience, hold the Diploma level 5 in health and social care, children and young people's workforce or be working towards this and have a significant work background supporting children and young people in residential care.
Due to the location of this service, a full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle is essential.
