LOCATION: NEWCASTLE UPON TYNE
SALARY: £30,000 - £32,000

BS Social Care are proud to be currently assisting an independent local (Newcastle based) and reputable domiciliary care provider in their search for an experienced Registered Manager to assist in the smooth running and provision of quality and caring support to service users with a range of needs in their own homes.

The role will involve the day to day management of a team of dedicated staff, overseeing recruitment, interviewing, training and staff rotas. The successful applicant will maintain a high quality CQC compliant service (currently rated good overall with one outstanding) delivering in excess of 2500 care and support hours every week. We are striving for an overall rating of outstanding and the directors of the organisation will work hand-in-hand with you the Registered Manager to achieve this.

You will manage the Care Co-ordination Team and the care team. You will maintain budgets and adhere with the company`s policies and procedures. You will ensure that a high-quality domiciliary care service is provided which meets the needs of the customers and maintains the customers` dignity and independence. In line with our ethos, when called upon you will be prepared to jump into any role, including direct service delivery.


Successful applicants must meet the following criteria:
- NVQ Level 5 in Management or Health & Social Care
- Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar managerial role
- Driver/own transport is essential
- Experience managing the delivery of at least 1500 hours of care a week.
