Registered Manager - EBD

Job Description

BS Social Care are currently working with an leading provider of childrens residential services across the West Midlands and East Midlands.

Due to expansion they are now looking for a registered childrens manager to empower the young people under their care to make positive changes to their lives and reach their full potential.

You will be reasonable for the day to day running of the home and adhere to the Childrens Homes Regulations act. Liaise with other departments and external agencies to ensure that the young people receive appropriate plans, programmes and support in the home to aid their rehabilitation into the community and to meet contractual requirements. Coach, support and develop staff, including supervision, to maximise their performance and ensure high standards of care, values, ethical standards, equality and diversity, policies and procedures, legislation and contractual and inspection framework requirements are met. You will also be responsible for the rota system and staffing of the home.

To be successful within this role you must have the following skills;

- Be a positive, pro active, forward thinking manager or strong deputy that likes a challenge
- Hold a professional social work qualification (Degree), QCF level 5 or working towards
- Have residential care experience
- Full driving licence


For all your hard work you can expect 25 days holidays plus 8 bank holidays in leiu. Pension contributions and a managers bonus scheme which can earn you an extra £12,000 per annum
