Job Description

I am looking for a registered manager to oversee the day to day management of a thirty plus bedded residential home for older adults, some of whom have mild dementia in North Birmingham. This service is rated "GOOD" with CQC and as registered manager, you will strive to achieve an "OUTSTANDING" rating.

You will become a pivotal part of medium sized, private residential home who prides themselves on the delivery of high-quality care and support to older adults. You will have autonomy as a manager to make decisions and share the drive and motivation of the service directors who wish to make this home the care provision of choice for families in the local area.

As well as overseeing the effective day to day management of this elderly residential home, you will also play a key role in staff recruitment, training and development. You will lead on care and support planning, liaising with external agencies and finance management. You will lead by example and inspire your staff team to deliver high quality care in line with both company and CQC standards.

A professional, care focused manager, you will be able to demonstrate a stable job history within the health and social care sector and have extensive CQC knowledge and experience.

A "can do", hands on approach to person centred care would really benefit the registered manager job role.

Able to hit the ground running, you will already be an established care manager who meets all the relevant criteria required to register with CQC. You will also hold a relevant, care management qualification (RMA/NVQ 5 in leadership and management) and have a full UK driving licence with access to your own vehicle. Excellent computer literacy with knowledge of MS Office is a MUST for this role.

In return for your extensive knowledge and experience, you will be rewarded with a highly competitive salary up to £30000 per annum dependent on experience and a generous annual leave allowance consisting of 25 days leave plus bank holiday. Other benefits including a company pension and additional training are also available to you.

I am looking to arrange immediate interviews for suitable candidates, so rather than delay, please apply via the BS Social Care website or by forwarding your CV tovia email.
