Registered Manager (LD ISL)
£36,000-£38,000

BS Social Care are working in partnership with a highly respected care provider in the Wearside area in the search for a registered manager for their Independent Support Living services.
Working on mainly a Monday-Friday basis the registered manager will look over around 20 ISLs around the district but it will be a very much office-based role looking over the many staff that run the ISLs and look after the needs of the service users.
You will oversee the management of the teams delivering care and support to the services users allowing them to achieve the goals they set for themselves in person centred approach-based care plans. Your leadership will allow this to be do in a safe and secure environment as possible.
You will be responsible for ensuring the care is delivered in accordance with company policies and, in the services where covered, that they are CQC compliant pushing towards good and outstanding. This will, of course, mean developing relationships with stakeholders and ensuring the ISLs are keeping good and appropriate relationships with the families of service users.
You will need an appropriate level 5 in health and social care and experience managing LD services. Experience overseeing large budgets will need to be evidenced.
This is a social enterprise company and all shares are owned by staff. The longer you are there the more shares you will earn on top of your salary. There is also an option to buy and sell your shares without impact on your role.
