Registered Manager required to oversee the operational day to day running of a GOOD rated small residential service for young adults with learning and physical disabilities in the Solihull Borough.

You will join an independent provider of quality care and support who has been established for over ten years and is committed to making a difference to the lives of the young adults they support. This organisation has strong foundations within the care sector with all senior managers having a significant background within the care industry themselves.

As registered manager you will lead and direct the day to day management of the residential service. You will lead by example and ensure that all care delivered is in line with company and CQC policies and procedures. You will be responsible for staff supervisions, recruitment and training.

Employed on a full time basis you will have flexibility to work a varied shift pattern and provide both hands on care and supernumerary support.

You will be a pro-active, organised and compassionate manager, who leads by example and communicates effectively to both your staff team and people in your care.

With a proven background in the learning disabilities sector, you will be able to demonstrate significant experience within a managerial role. This registered manager role would be perfect for a deputy manager who is looking to manage their first residential home or a care manager who would like to continue to foster their knowledge, experience and practical skills with a new provider.

You will hold a relevant managerial qualification (Level 5 in leadership and management or equivalent) and although not essential, a full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle would benefit this registered manager`s role greatly.

To be successful in this role, you will fulfil all requirements needed to register as a manager with CQC.
