Job Description

I am currently working in partnership with an established provider of learning disabilities sites across the West Midlands. They are currently seeking a new Registered Manager for their learning disabilities in Solihull, Birmingham. They have consistently achieved a GOOD CQC rating and are looking for the next manager to take them to the next level.

This is a great opportunity for those seeking their first step into management or their next step up or across. You will be a person that has great knowledge and understanding of CQC as well as their policies and proceedings. You will also be very confident in leading a team, one to ones, referrals, family liaison and compliance.

As part of your role as Registered manager , you hold overall responsibility for the delivery of care services across a defined service, and therefore must comply with all regulatory requirements including registration and inspection processes as laid down by the Care Quality Commission.

To safeguard and promote the welfare of service users and to ensure that the quality of care provided is consistent with The Essential Standards of Quality and Safety.

To establish and maintain a competent, motivated and confident staff team and to offer leadership, managerial direction, guidance and support to staff at junior levels.

To ensure that the Company policies and procedures are adhered to and that resources are managed effectively. To monitor systems for the efficient administration of the project and to ensure that the fabric of the project, equipment, appliances and grounds are maintained to the highest order in accordance with Health and Safety requirements.

To be considered for this role then you must be a strong leader and lead by example, have an NVQ level 5 in Leadership and Management or have started this or want to complete this and preferably be a driver.

For your hard work and commitment, you can expect a salary of £25,000 to £28,000, pension plan, fantastic holiday allowance and the opportunity to open a new service and develop into a multi-site manager.
