Job Description

An exciting opportunity has arose for a care focused, driven and motivated Registered manager to oversee the day to day running of a "GOOD" rated, specialised respite and short breaks service for adults with learning disabilities, physical disabilities and complex care needs in Staffordshire.

As registered manager, you will be employed by one of the UK`s leading provider of care and support services and will actively manage services which enable the individuals in your care to be as independent and able as possible in the community and form meaningful relationships. You will continuously promote an ethos where the people you care for are respected and valued.

The registered manager role will require you to effectively manage a multi-disciplinary staff team, deliver care and support in line with CQC and company policies and procedures and achieve quality and compliance. You will provide specific management support, advice and motivation for your staff team. Most importantly, you will create and manage diverse services which have a strong focus on promoting and achieving personal goals for the people you support.

To apply for this registered manager vacancy, you will be able to demonstrate a proven background supporting adults with learning disabilities, physical disabilities and complex care needs. You will ideally be able to demonstrate a background in overseeing respite/short break services and be highly flexible so you can participate in the 24 hour on-call rotational system.

As well as relevant care experience, you will also hold a professional care qualification such as the QCF level 5 in leadership and management, NVQ 4 in health and social care or the RMA. As this role involves overseeing more than one site, you will hold a full UK driving licence and have access to your own vehicle.
In addition to relevant care qualifications and management experience, you will be able to demonstrate a passion for care and support, excellent communication skills and the drive and motivation to inspire others.

This exciting opportunity is offering successful candidates a salary up to £28000 per annum, continued training and development, internal progression opportunities and other exciting benefits such as a generous mileage and annual leave allowance.
