REGISTERED MANAGER (SENS CHILDREN)
BRISTOL
£30,000 TO £35,000
Do you enjoy working with young people and want to make difference by supporting them achieve their goals?
My client is looking for an experienced, caring, compassionate and motivated individual to join their team as a Registered Manager. The client is a leading national organisation that provides support to people with a range of needs, including children and young people with Learning Disabilities, autism, mental health problems, and emotional and behavioural needs.
As a Registered Manager, you will be supporting children & young people between the ages of 7 - 19-year olds who have either come from abused, neglected backgrounds or they have ASD (Autism) and Asperger's who have associated co-morbidities such as self-harm, EBD, ADHD who will display challenging behaviour. As a Registered Manager, you will lead and manage a staff team, inspiring them to create a therapeutic, homely atmosphere to address the needs of young people with a range of complex needs. You will hold responsibility for the operational and financial control of the service. You will be involved in the pro-active and creative behaviour management planning, along with recruiting, induction, and supervision of the staff team and on-call duty management.
Role:
As a Registered Manager you will have:
-Knowledge and understanding of the Children's Homes Regulations and other legislation pertinent to the role (able to meet requirements of OFSTED as a Registered Manager)
-2 years' experience working with children and young people or equivalent
-Qcf level 5 or working towards one
-Level 3 Diploma or equivalent for Children
-Excellent organisational and administration skills
