I am working with an exceptional health and social care provider to recruit for a supported living registered manager to oversee their new supported living services in Birmingham.
My client already has a great reputation in the domiciliary care field and they are seeking the opportunity to increase their care service portfolio, providing person centred care and promoting independence under the Transforming Care Act.
Your role as registered supported living manager, will require you to oversee settings across the Birmingham area. You will support adults with learning disabilities and complex behaviours within a Positive Behaviour Support Framework.
The successful managerial applicant will work closely with the senior management team and company owner to support the commissioning of these new settings, as well as oversee all elements of day to day management, from referrals, care and support planning and service management, to recruitment and handling a budget.
Travel across the Midlands area, predominantly Birmingham as well as playing a key part in the "on call" rota are essential requirements of this role.
To be considered for this exciting opportunity, you must:
" Demonstrate experience within a managerial capacity for supported living services for adults with learning disabilities and complex needs, including adults from forensic background and secure settings
" Hold a relevant care management qualification
" Evidence knowledge and experience of the Transforming Care Act, as well as Positive Behaviour Support Framework
" Be flexible to cover multiple local sites, so a full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle is essential
" Meet all requirements to register with CQC as a manager
