I am actively recruiting for a Resident, Customer Community Safety and Inclusion Officer across SOUTH DERBYSHIRE to join a well-respected Midlands based provider of care and housing. You will join an organisation who is a leading provider of housing, residential and supported living services for vulnerable adults and they have been a market leader in their sector for over 60 years.

Employed on a full time basis, you will play a key role driving forward commitment to resident and customer engagement across all areas of the business. We are seeking motivated and enthusiastic Resident, Customer Community Safety and Inclusion Officers who will be visible across the communities and services, improving and expanding inclusive resident and customer engagement opportunities and working in partnership with residents, customers and stakeholders to bring creative ideas to life. You will provide a range of opportunities that engage individuals at all levels. This will be done by holding events, it will be your responsibility to plan these events.
You will be part of a strong and dynamic team that will achieve the key duties required, role modelling a positive and honest approach in every interaction that you have with residents and customers. These roles will play a key part in prevention and early intervention to resolve anti-social behaviours, identifying solutions that promote safer and stronger communities and utilising local resources, maintaining contact with those affected to ensure outcomes are sustained.

You will enjoy taking a lead role in planning and organising a wide range of activities and events, focus groups, roadshows, skills development, conferences, estate walkabouts and much more but will also support from afar when residents and customers take the lead.
To be considered for this exciting new role, you will:
" Have at least 2 years community engagement experience, working within a social housing/community investment environment/ charity.
" Have experience and knowledge of working with socially excluded and hard-to reach individuals and groups
" Be experienced in the use of housing management databases, electronic data management systems, PC packages such as Word, Excel and Outlook.
" Hold a full, valid, UK driving licence with the use of a vehicle.
