Job Description
Children's Residential Support Worker opportunities available within an established, residential setting in NOTTINGHAMSHIRE which provides care and support for children and young people aged 8 to 17 years who have complex, mental health, and EBD needs.
I am seeking applications from candidates who hold the level 3 in children and young people's workforce, or from candidates who are looking to make the move into the residential childcare sector, and who already have a background supporting young adults with varied care needs, including learning disabilities, or children within a different setting.
The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with children and making a positive impact on a child's life. You will need to have an open mind and be able to support children who may act and present you with challenging behaviour.
This is a full-time role with a varied shift pattern, so flexibility is essential. Your shift patterns will include, earlies, lates, long days and a maximum of 4 sleeps per month on a rolling rota.
In return, for your passion, skills, and commitment, you will receive a salary of £20,837 (unqualified) to £23,465 (qualified) a year plus a SLEEP IN ALLOWANCE of £50.00 per sleep (adding approximately £2000 to your basic salary per annum)
Other benefits include:
" Continued training and development
" The opportunity to secure a formal childcare qualification
" Access to internal career progression
" Generous annual leave allowance and more!
