Job Description

I have several exciting job opportunities for Childrens Residential Support Workers to join a lovely and supportive children`s service in NOTTINGHAMSHIRE which provides essential and valuable care to children and young people aged 8 to 17 years who have complex, mental health, and EBD needs.

To succeed in this role, you will ideally hold a QCF (Qualification Credit Framework) level 3 in Supporting Children and Young People.

You will be a proactive and focused person looking to work towards a formal childcare qualification. Experience working with children in a residential, outreach, community or youth work would be beneficial. Or working with young adults with learning disabilities.

The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with children and making a positive impact on a child`s life. You will need to have an open mind and be able to support children who may act and present you with challenging behaviour.

The role of a children residential support worker can be hard and difficult at times however it is the most rewarding career when you know you`ve made a positive impact on a child`s life and future. You will be required to be flexible and undertake a variety of shift pattens, earlies, lates, long days and a maximum of 4 sleeps per month.

For your support and commitment, you will paid a salary of £ to £20,837 to £23,465 a year plus a SLEEP IN ALLOWANCE of £50.00 per sleep which can take your salary up by £2000

You will also get a holiday allowance and pension plan, as well as career development and the opportunity to complete your QCF Level 3 if you haven`t already got this.

Don`t miss out working for an organisation that values its staff and puts the needs of the children in their care at the heart of what they do! Click APPLY today or email Carina Harris in our Birmingham Care office on 0121 480 8220
