Job Description

I have a fantastic opportunity for a Residential Carer role in Chard, Somerset. The position is in a residential children's home, with children who experience social and emotional difficulties and are receiving support.

The day to day duties of this role will include;

-Developing working relationships with the service users'
-Personal Care
-Supporting the service users' individual needs & challenging behaviours
-Act as a role model
-Safeguarding
-Undertake housekeeping, food preparation and enable the service users to be as independent as possible
-Working within a team

Candidate Requirements;

-NVQ Level 3 Children & Young People
-At least 2 years' experience in the Care industry
-Driving Licence
-At least 21 years' old

Salary range;

If you are under 25 the salary will be just under £24,000
If you are over 25 the salary will be just under £25,000

This is for a full time position with a 3 week rolling rota, with sleep ins included.
