An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Residential Childcare worker to help support young children ages 6-11 years old who have experienced trauma and whose lives have been severely disrupted to grow socially and emotionally.

Your role will involve providing a nurturing and safe environment for the Children, providing support with their educational, behavioural and social development, liaising with social workers, families and external support services, attending LAC and CAF meetings and keeping clear professional records and following report procedures.

The successful candidate will be a passionate and resilient individual with a child centred approach. You will have a positive attitude with the ability to remain calm under pressure.

You will ideally hold a minimum Level 2 Diploma in Children and Young People and have previous experience working in a similar setting.

This is a full time position with a excellent salary of £17,681-£19,819 plus ongoing personal and professional development and training opportunities.
