Job Description

******Looking For Residential Support Workers with experience of working with Highly Challenging Children in residential homes across London? ******

If so, then please read on.

I have a fantastic opportunities for several Residential Children's Support Workers for Local Authority and leading providers in the London area.


" The role pays £12 per hour upwards

" Working shifts patterns of 7.30am - 12.30pm, 8am-4pm, 1pm-9.30pm, 8.30pm-8.30am, Monday -

Sunday (5 days out of 7 Rota)

" Clientele are based in the North, South, East, West London Areas.

" You will need to communicate effectively with transport teams , SEN staff and parents to ensure the upmost care is provided so the client has a comfortable dignified engaging daily experience.

" Looking for someone that is truthful, reliable, demonstrates patience, understanding and awareness of issues around children having extreme disabilities, special needs and who are on the autistic spectrum with challenging behaviour who are passionate and have a caring nature.

" Control & Restraint training would be beneficial

For this role you will need to have the following:

" A minimum of NVQ level 3 in Children and young people or above

" 6months experience within 1 year working with challenging behaviour & Autistic children

" An understanding of safeguarding

If successful you will go through all the necessary mandatory recruitment checks including taking out a new enhanced DBS check with your permission unless you already have an up to date one registered with the DBS update service.
