Job Description

Are you a Children's Residential Support Worker with experience working in a children's home who present challenging behaviours from having traumatic backgrounds, although not essential?

If so, read on!
We are recruiting for Children`s Residential Support worker based in Pilling and Preston!
Our client is a well-established organisation with successfully running homes across Lancashire.

Main Purpose of Your Job

To undertake direct work with young people living in a brand new 8 bedded home which aims to enable them to gain the confidence and skills to live independently as well as supporting them practically and emotionally in their day-to-day lives.

If you have previous experience as a children`s therapeutic practitioner, children and young people support worker, residential support worker or outreach worker please get in touch! This being said, experience is not absolutely essential if you are able to demonstrate willingness to learn.
Ideally you will hold a full UK driver's license, and a Level 3 NVQ qualification, although also not essential.

Applicants that do not hold a Level 3 qualification will be considered and required to work towards this qualification and provided with training & support.

The roles are full time minimum of 37.5 hours per on a 2 in 4 off rolling rota basis including weekend and evenings.

Salary on offer starting from £18,525 depending on experience with additional £50 for sleeps plus 3 monthly attendance bonus and other benefits available!
