Children's Residential Support Worker

39 Hours per Week

£16,467 plus sleep ins!

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for 2 residential children's support workers to join an incredible team with brilliant prospects! This is a rare opportunity to work in a beautiful children's home in the Congleton area.

This is a small home, where you will be responsible for supporting up to 4 children with emotional behavioural disorder and challenging behaviour between the ages of 8 and 18. Ideally you will have a level 3 qualification in health and social care or children's and young people - but don't worry if not, the client is willing to put the right candidate through their qualifications in order to better themselves and others!

You will be part of something truly amazing as you play an integral role in the daily running of the home. You will be encouraging the children to participate in everyday routines such as personal care, attending school or education packages provided and appointments. You will be delivering key worker sessions and sit in on multi-agency run sessions. Furthermore you will be actively participating and encouraging an active social life which can be anything from cinema trips to youth club activities and more!

The ideal candidate will be a good communicator, look to start a career with the company and want to develop themselves, be able to work well within a team and hold a driving clean drivers licence for a minimum of 3 years! You will also have a great sense of humour, be passionate to make positive changing in children's lives, be active and outgoing but most of all FUN!
