Job Description

An exciting opportunity has arisen for passionate and dedicated Support Workers to join a well-established Charity in the delivery of a Mental Health and Learning Disability Residential home, in the Frizington area.

You will be working for an excellent provider in Mental Health, Learning Disabilities and Acquired Brain Injury who support people with high and complex needs. You will be joining the group at a very exciting time of growth and expansion, which could lead to future progression and development opportunities.

As the Support Worker you will be supporting with personal care, support with daily living, managing finances, maintaining relationships, supporting social/community involvement, supporting education & employment and undertaking activities and holidays.

You will be able to demonstrate good organisation skills, leadership, communication skills and a willingness to work closely with colleagues and the Team to ensure the effective and smooth running of the Service.

The successful candidate will hold relevant experience in the Social Care fields. You will have experience managing complex situations and have the ability to motivate and develop individuals and you must be flexible to meet the service needs.

This is a full-time position with a starting salary of £16,000 - £18,197 plus increments to salary in addition to excellent benefits, progression and developments. Further benefits include 28 days` annual leave, rising to up to 38 days depending on length of service, double pay if you work on bank holidays, pension scheme contributions (3% employer, 4% employee), life assurance equal to three times your salary, bereavement helpline, eye care vouchers (dependent on position), training and continuing professional development opportunities, long service awards and outstanding work bonus payments.
