LOCATION: SOUTH LANARKSHIRE

SALARY: £17,500 - £18,500 plus sleep in allowances of up to £7k annually

BS Social Care is a national organisation, specialising in the recruitment of professionals within the Health and Social Care sector. We are currently working alongside a specialist provider of residential childcare and education services in their recruitment of an experienced Residential Children`s Worker.

You will join a highly reputable Health and Social Care provider who have gained significant reward and recognition from external organisations such as Ofsted for the level of care they deliver. They deliver independent care and support for children and young adults.

The role is to support the senior staff who support the Registered Home Manager in providing the best quality care in a safe and care focused environment for the young people. You will be part of the support team who draw up, review and action support plans to ensure the young people are achieving the goals that they aspire to, all the time ensuring they are living in a safe and stable environment.

The successful candidate will have:

- Minimum SVQ Level 3 in Children & Young People or Health & Social Care

- Minimum 2 years experience in a similar, senior role supporting children & young adults with EBD and challenging behaviour

- At least 2 years experience working in a similar setting within residential care
