*** RESIDENTIAL SUPPORT WORKER - CHILDREN SERVICES ***

LOCATION: WORSBROUGH, BARNSLEY

SALARY & BENEFITS: £15,680 - £16,680 but this does not include additional payments made for sleep ins and other unsocialable hours along with the following benefits: This company will provide you with a complete induction and foundation training process. If you start in this post unqualified, you will begin to study to achieve level 3 diploma in children and young people, a teaching assistant qualification and team teach accreditation. Due to the size of this company,progression opportunities become available quite regularly, so if you are interested in progressing into more senior roles, they will put in place a development scheme to ensure you are promoted as soon as possible.

My client is a nationwide care provider who focuses on improving the lives of children with emotional and behavioural issues and they currently have vacancies for Residential Support Workers in a 3 bedded unit in Worsborough, Barnsley.

As a support worker, you will work under the direction of senior support team to ensure that the quality of life of those in your care is always at its highest. Your main aim is to treat all residents with respect, dignity and encourage them to attain the highest level of independence possible, while always being on hand to give support when they need it. These young people will require 24 hour support so you must be prepared to work a variety of shifts, including sleep ins. (Between 7-10 per month)

- 23 years old or above
- Full clean driving license
- Be flexible in terms of working hours
