Job Description

B.S Social Care are currently recruiting for experienced Children Residential Support Workers to work ad hoc shifts within Young people services based in South, West, East & North London area.

You will be required to work on a rota with various shift patterns including waking nights and Sleep ins. The shifts are solely based on the clients daily requirements so you need to be flexible as well as reliable.

Your clients will be Vulnerable Young People aged 16 - 18 with varied issues such as Child Sexual Exploitation or they may be Unaccompanied Minors or Ex-Gang Members with County Lines Gang issues or mental health problems, addiction issues or other emotional or social needs.

You will be supporting them on a daily basis. The young people are independent but will need support when required which could be attending appointments, trying to help them back into the community, helping with College work, Job applications and assisting with any other outdoor activities. You will need to be I.T literate, confident with report writing and carrying out handovers to other members of staff.




To register with BS Social Care you will need a NVQ Level-3 in Children & Young People minimum of 2 years` experience working with Young People & Children and be able to supply 5 years referencing. An enhanced DBS will need to be completed which is a cost of £50 or if you have one on the update service then this can be accepted.
