Job Description

BS Social care are looking for an experienced adult support worker based in YO15, Bridlington.

This service is a 10 bedded home, and you must have experience working with learning disabilities, challenging behaviour and mental health. You also must be comfortable working on a 1-1 basis.

On the days of your shift you will be expected too-

*Take part in the day-to-day activities with the service users

*To maintain effective communication with the service users aswell as their family members

*To support service users with day to day tasks like sorting laundry, cleaning and other general house duties

*Work as part of the team and work well as a group

Shifts at the service include sleeps, long days and mornings. You must be fully flexible Mondays- Sundays due to how the rota is set.

To be considered for this role you must have an NVQ in health and social care or be working towards.

In order to apply for this role you must be able to provide the following-
-DBS on the update service. Other wise pay for one through BS Social care
- Provide valid ID documents
- Reference the past 2 years, including any gaps
- Do a virtual registration via Skype/ teams to register due to COVID

A driver is desirable but not essential.


Pay rates vary from £8.72- £8.98 depending if you are a qualified worker.
