Residential Childcare Worker -Oldham

17,000 22,000 Per annum depending on experience and qualifications

My client is currently looking for a children`s residential support worker to provide care for children with EBD. You will be working and contributing to care plans and assisting with the daily living skills of the service users. By actively encouraging with activities and support with family you will play an integral role in the care of the service users.

The ideal candidate will be working in a home with up to 5 children whom suffer with EBD related problems. The ideal candidate will have experience in working with children with mental health problems and challenging behaviour.

The ideal candidate will hold a clean and valid driving licence and have access to their own transport, hold a level 3 qualification in children and young people and be flexible to work a 24/7 shift pattern on a rota including `sleep-ins`. Don`t worry if you don`t have the qualifications but have experience they will put you through your qualifications!

This is a full time, permanent position working shifts from 11:30-11pm and sleep-ins from 11pm- 12midday. Due to the nature of the shifts you will need to drive and have access to your own car.
