We are recruiting for Residential Support Workers for a brand new temp to permanent opportunity that has arisen in Blackpool!

This is a great opportunity to continue your care career in the care sector working for one of the largest national providers of residential children's service.

You will be responsible for supporting young people with forensic backgrounds and behaviours that might challenge. Working on a full-time rolling rota, 2 on 4 off, you will be responsible for providing day to day support from meal preparation through to domestic support. Most importantly you will be responsible for engaging with the young people and building professional rapport.

The ideal candidate will be dedicated, resilient and not easily fazed as the young people will present behaviours that might challenge. You will be able to up hold your own, being consistent and firm in your approach, whilst having a good sense of humour and be able to engage with young people.

Suitable candidates must have a minimum of 1 year's experience working in a similar residential setting or relevant experience of supporting young people with challenging behaviours, EBD, forensic backgrounds etc! Ideally you will hold an NVQ Level 3 CCYP and MAPPA training and must be flexible to work on the rolling rota.
