**Residential Support Worker**
**Children and young people with challenging behaviour, autism and learning disabilities**
**Maternity cover 3 months+ 19.5 hours a week**
**Waking nights**
**£8.50 - £9.50**

I am working with a fantastic service in Bedford who are looking for 2 waking night Support Workers to help them cover Maternity.

This service provides short breaks for children aged between 8-18 years spread between the house and the annex.

You will be there to ensure that everything run smoothly over night, that any issues are dealt with appropriately. You will be there to provide reassurance and security for the children but also to ensure that they don`t disturb the other children if there is an issue.

You will need to have Team Teach training as well as a minium of 12 months experience in Care.
You will need a NVQ Level 3 in Children and Young People or the equivalent.

Ideally you have professional experience working with children with learning disability, autism and challenging behaviour. It would be beneficial for you to have residential experience.

You will need to have an enhanced DBS registered to the online update service. If you don`t have this then I can support you in getting one.

You will need to be able to commit to waking night shifts of a total of 19.5 hours per week.

£8.50 - £9.50ph + benefits
