Job Description

Children`s Residential Support Worker - Days
Our client based in South East London are looking for Children`s Residential Support Workers. You will be there to carry out domestic duties and be able to communicate effectively with children that have had disadvantaged beginnings and have behavioural difficulties. The perfect individual will defiantly thrive off pressure and have strong problem-solving skills.

Main Tasks of the Job:
" Giving personal and emotional support to promote the children`s wellbeing.
" To participate in ongoing training and development and staff meetings.
" Encourage children to give feedback about the support they receive to improve services.
" Able to take own responsibility to carry out daily tasks and duties.

Requirements:
" Have a good level of education.
" Good literacy skills.
" Good IT skills.
" Ideally Level 3 Diploma for Residential Childcare or NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care (Children and young people) preferred. However, commitment to undertake relevant training and to fill gaps of qualifications.
" Experience within this sector is mandatory
" Clear writing, recording and reporting skills.

Salary range and benefits:
" Salary from £21000-£23000 per annum depending on experience.
" Company progression.
" Constant training a development programmes available.
