Job Description

Support Worker - Adults Autism

Are you looking for flexibility? Weekly pay with additional holiday pay? Be a part of some amazing teams? Gain experience? Support children, adults or elderly people?

Here at BS Social Care we are recruiting dedicated, experienced and committed Support Workers across South Wales to help fantastic teams of staff provide support and care to individuals with Autism.

Your role will be to support individuals with autism through helping them reach their potential through communicating and supporting individuals in a professional and caring manner. Successful candidates with have restraint training or equivalent. This role offers a variety of long days or wakes. Due to the location, you would need to have access to your own vehicle.

A DBS on the update service is a great advantage but not a requirement.

To work with us, you will need:

  • 6 months paid, hands-on experience or recently undertaken training
  • To be approachable, friendly, proactive and engage with the services users
  • Great communication, organisational and interpersonal skills
  • Desirable: DBS on the update service
